Radiant Star was included in the Gift of Art Exhibition at the Grand Theater Gallery in December 2024, emphasizing light and symbolism during the holiday season. The Dance was later shown at the Lewisville Playhouse in February 2025, where its vibrant energy and layered meaning stood out as a centerpiece for reflection.

The Process
The Eclectic Abstractions were created through a mix of bold acrylic strokes, textured surfaces, and shimmering metallic accents. Each canvas began with a carefully planned palette, layered in broad motions to create movement and depth. In Golden Jubilee Cake, molding paste was added for raised texture and gold foil was scattered across the surface, catching the light like falling confetti. Radiant Star extended the use of metallics with a central burst of glittering gold, radiating guidance and hope against a cooler, wintry background. The Dance carried this exploration further, with sweeping strokes of magenta, yellow, blue, and white swirling around two abstracted figures. While its forms evoke a moment of shared joy, it also symbolizes contrasts—waves from hurricanes and colors from wildfire as current events, tragedy and celebration, fire and water, earth and sky. The blending of opposites highlights both fragility and resilience, unity and separation. Across the collection, the integration of metallic elements with vibrant color creates surfaces that shift and shimmer, balancing strength with delicacy.
